I've been so addicted to making my own smoothies lately, I just couldn't wait to share one on the blog. I think it's a great time too, as Spring and Summer are the perfect seasons to make these in!
What you will need:
- Banana
- 3-6 Strawberries
- 1 cup or 1/2 cup serving (your choice) Yogurt of your liking (I prefer honey or vanilla flavored). For less calories, you can use a non-fat yogurt. I really enjoy the Greek yogurts from fresh&easy.
- 1 tlb Honey (organic or regular)
- 1/2 cup Soy or Almond milk
- 4-8 ice cubes
At home we use the Magic Bullet blender, which allows me to make one cup serving at a time (16 ounces). If you're making more than an individual serving, add to or double the ingredients.
